Behold the Chanterelle Thief, climbing/walking over the treetops! It has come to steal the Gold of the Forest, found at the human’s secret honey spot.
What does this mean..?
It means that the secretive, hoarding, squirrel-like behavior of many mushroom enthusiasts is getting challenged.
So yeah - buffer up by all means - but be prepared for curveballs!
An unknown hero takes care of the Thief, but let this be a lesson!
For me, I painted this at a time in my personal life when I’m at a crossroads of sorts, and I was trying to keep all my options open!
